DescriptionThe Hub WW Delivery Offer and Expansion team is part of the Last Mile Delivery and Technology organization and is responsible for designing and managing long term planning and the expansion strategy of the Hub Delivery program around the world. We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to join a team leading the creation of expansion plans and automating planning tools for Hub Delivery across the 8 countries in which it operates and in new countries in coming years. A successful candidate will excel in written and verbal communication, be fluent in dealing with and articulating trends and analysis of quantitative and qualitative methods, comfortable analyzing and prioritizing strategic trade-offs, experienced with product/program strategy and strong in stakeholder management. They will be comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, have experience in international markets, drawn to thinking big and the prospect of evolving the program into new use cases, and will be able to roll-up their sleeves to dive deep into the data as well as to effectively partner with multiple stakeholders across internal and external teams. Any background in logistics, finance, last mile or supply chain will be considered a plus. Bellevue, WA or New York are the preferred locations for this position. Domestic relocation will be provided. Key job responsibilities
- Lead strategic WW long-term network planning process and toolkit standardization for the Hub Delivery network and expansions.
- Develop and define requirements for tools to automate and integrate new Hub Delivery use cases into AMZL planning tools.
- Define the best Network Topology solution by contributing to the development of tools for critical strategic questions such as how many facilities to build, what kinds they should be, where to put them, how to expect them to operate in the larger context of AMZL, and how to connect them in our transportation system.
- Actively work to remove bottlenecks. Create scalable mechanisms and best practices. Use network planning knowledge to influence future tools and features enhancement.
- Manage planning cycle (3YF/OP1/OP2) timelines and deliverables.
- Lead projects for cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new features, tools services that meet cost optimization and delivery experience maximization goals.
- Proactively identify gaps and opportunities in the process/solution by performing continuous benchmarking across the AMZL network.
- Drive clear, precise, and regular communication with stakeholders to include ongoing project/program status via monthly, quarterly and weekly planning reviews.
A day in the life A day in the life of this role is likely to involve identifying and deep diving network planning data to understand trends and network performance, writing expansion plans and other strategy documents on the basis of analyzed data and meeting with stakeholders to discuss and align on expansion recommendations. This role is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, loves and is skilled at writing, has excellent judgment and enjoys engaging with global stakeholders. About the team The Hub Delivery Partner program is part of Amazon’s fast growing and always evolving rural and urban delivery program. We partner with customer obsessed small business owners who then deliver to Amazon customers. Our partners raise the bar for the delivery experience, in some of the most complex last mile scenarios! We are in the process of growing a WW team to expand and support the channel in 8 countries!
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or ownerPreferred Qualifications
- Experience owning technology products

The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market.
