Leadership Full Job Description Position Summary:

Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital At BAptist Health Brookood Hospital the Supply Chain Logistice Manager manages day-to-day operations of all central supply and load dock areas.

Responsibilities:

 Manages day-to-day operations of all central supply and load dock areas.  Compiles and prepares monthly operation reports.  Adheres to rules and regulations for the transportation of goods in accordance with the Department of Transportation, state licensure and other governing agencies.  Establishes and monitors goals and objectives, including Critical Success Factors and operating budget.  Responsible for establishing and maintaining Quality Assurance/CQI programs and reporting mechanisms.  Develops reporting mechanisms from receiving and supply areas.  Reviews departmental performance and implements changes.  Coordinates daily activities and communication between all Central Supply and Receiving areas.  Responsible for ensuring that Corporate Receiving occurs according to policy.  Ensures timely, accurate and safe delivery of product to all areas of Orlando Health.  Develops appropriate Distribution processes in all areas to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.  Develops and monitors coaching plans.  Serves as customer service representative for Central Supply/Receiving and focal point for retrieval of supplies due to product recalls/failures.  Responsible for the management and optimal utilization of par locations and emergency supply carts.  Ability to develop and implement business plans.  Responsible for the conduct and coordination of physical inventories at all Corporate Central Supply locations.  Responsible for monitoring charge management process and discrepancy resolution.  Interacts with Finance and CS customers to maintain and communicate accurate charge and expense information.  Coordinates activities and communication between all Central Supply departments to ensure consistency of behavior and corporate focus.  Monitors monthly budget reports for all areas of responsibility.  Works with Resource Team during product conversions to ensure a smooth transition.  Coordinates vendor returns/credits, invoice discrepancy resolution for primary vendor.  Coordinates with Materials Automation staff to resolve system issues.  Responsible for establishing and monitoring quality control audits of automated delivery receipts and mechanism for discrepancy resolution.  Adheres to Orlando Health policies, procedures, value statements, and Commitment to Excellence Standards.  Manages various human resources functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and performance counseling.  Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.  Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent. Thirteen (13) years related experience to include three (3) years experience working as a supervisor or manager (no substitution allowed for the required leadership experience). A Bachelor’s degree may substitute for up to eight (8) years of the required experience. An Associate’s degree may substitute for up to four (4) years of the required experience.
