Operations Supervisor- Material Management Team Nalara Quality System LLC 309 Williamson Ave, Opelika, AL 36804 Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee and enhance our operational processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing supply chain activities, ensuring efficient inventory management, and leading a team to meet production goals. This position requires a strong understanding of materials management, demand planning, and supplier management to optimize our operations effectively.

Responsibilities Shipping and Receiving:

Supervise the accurate and timely receipt, inspection, and shipment of materials and products. Coordinate with logistics partners and internal departments to ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations.

Waste Management:

Manage waste disposal processes in accordance with regulatory and environmental standards. Implement waste reduction initiatives and monitor compliance.

Warehouse Organization:

Oversee the organization, cleanliness, and safety of the warehouse. Develop and enforce storage systems and procedures to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency.

Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits. Work with procurement and production teams to ensure material availability.

Forklift Operations Management:

Manage the scheduling, training, and performance of forklift drivers. Ensure forklifts are maintained properly and operated safely according to OSHA standards Skills Proficient in MRP systems and Oracle EBS for inventory and materials management. Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement and demand planning. Excellent contract negotiation skills with experience in supplier management. Ability to analyze data effectively and make informed decisions based on findings. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration across departments. Experience in fabricating processes is a plus.
