You obsess over performance, culture, compliance, and cost. You never fail a customer and motivate your team to go above and beyond. As a Hub Manager, you’ll be the go-to leader for all things operational at your hub—from stock and compliance to driver performance and safety. You’re responsible for ensuring our customer orders are fulfilled on time, in full, and in quality (OTIFIQ) while creating a high-performing, safety-first environment. You’ll ensure drivers are resourced and supported, stock is accurately managed, vehicles are roadworthy, and your hub is operating safely, efficiently, and in line with standards. You’ll embed a culture of accountability and customer centricity, coaching your team and developing driver behaviors that reduce OTIFIQ issues and fleet damage.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management Oversee all hub operations including compliance, stock management, maintenance, and delivery of goods ensuring OTIFIQ and route productivity targets are consistently met, budgets are achieved, and consistent improvements are made Manage driver routes, coverage, and shift handovers. Conduct regular route reviews and driver assessments to reduce errors and improve delivery performance. Develop and implement a proactive, planned, and structured approach to vehicle maintenance, keeping within the designated budget and ensuring all vehicles used are fit for purpose and the driver & customer experience is of a high standard Monitor and review motor vehicle behaviors and accidents, conduct root cause analysis and conduct post-accident investigations to reduce further accidents. Ensure we operate with Food & Health and safety at the forefront but be able to operate within a practical mindset People Leadership Lead and coach drivers and hub staff to improve delivery quality, efficiency, and safety on the road. Develop a coaching and development focused culture but with a heavy focus on performance expectations Promote Health & Safety standards at the hub and transport level. Ultimate point of escalation for hub performance whilst creating accountability within your leadership structure Compliance, Safety & Reporting Ensure all compliance activities are completed daily — inventory & vehicle checks, health & safety, and food handling standards. Lead incident reporting and investigations, escalating risks that may impact operational continuity. Support and deliver driver training and onboarding, focusing on OTIFIQ delivery standards and safe driving. Maintain clear records for audits and drive a high standard of operational discipline.
