A minimum of 5-years experience in a leadership role focused on Logistics and Supply Chain Must currently reside in a daily commutable distance from our Melbourne, FL campus International logistics experience Summary The main role of the Director of Logistics is for managing end-to-end operations within a business’ supply chain, and working internally with production, leadership, sales, and warehousing teams to optimize a business’ supply chain and align it with growth goals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic supply chain plans and processes Monitor, evaluate, and improve the performance of all logistics processes Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery times with suppliers and vendors Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy of warehouse operations Monitor transportation costs and ensure quality of deliveries Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and cost-savings Lead the development, implementation, and review of logistics policies and procedures Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards Skills and Attributes Strong knowledge of logistics processes, systems, and regulations Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams Able to work independently and in a team environment Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
