Materials ManagerMinimum Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field plus a minimum of 10 years direct industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree e.g., MBA and closer to 10 years of industry experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience required
- Interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build a consensus, work in high-pressure environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

The Role:

- Role and Responsibilities
- Reporting to the VP of Operations
- Responsible for activities related to controlling, scheduling, and managing the flow of production from acquisition of raw materials to distribution of finished product
- The Buying/ Planning area is responsible for timely purchasing of raw materials, components and parts while keeping the right quantity, quality, and cost analysis. Negotiates quotations and supplier contracts. Maintains relationships with suppliers, recommends changes in purchasing procedures to improve service, quality, and/or reduce cost
- Will lead a team of buyers/planners.
