We are headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, serving more than 500,000 customers worldwide. We are seeking a professional Import Logistics Coordinator, who is self-motivated, have an excellent knowledge of latest trends of international logistics and capable of establishing and maintaining strong positive relationship with international freight forwarders. The ideal candidate can work independently, have a strong work ethic, and can meet deadlines. Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for handling all aspects of inbound shipments to USA and Europe and inventory management of multiple warehouse locations. This individual will work very closely with the Director of Logistics to maintain an efficient flow of products from the factory to customers. They also will be responsible for maintaining good relationship with the vendors and our logistics members.

Primary Responsibility:

Ensure the flow of products from manufacturing facilities to warehouse locations; Arrange and oversee import/export shipments and trace their status Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments Obtain quotations, negotiate transportation rates for import/export and domestic shipments Handle shipping documents, prepare required documentation for transport and customs clearance 3PL management including negotiation of prices and execution of contracts, close communication and collaboration with 3PL providers Oversee the flow of domestic shipments Identify the root cause issue with service provider and resolve problems Participate in inventory counts and inventory discrepancy adjustments Guide and assist warehouse to perform inventory adjustment correctly Process returned merchandise Back up Order Verification Processor as needed Required qualifications: Excellent written and spoken English Professional written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner Attention to detail Self-motivation Ability to meet strict deadlines Ability to organize daily workload by priorities Ability to work under the pressure Ability to multi-task A proactive approach to problem-solving Bachelor degree and/or experience in a similar role Minimum 5 years of working experience at freight forwarder import department Minimum 3 years of inventory management experience Minimum 3 years of 3PL management experience
