HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Lead merchandise planning efforts for the eCommerce business, including pre-season assortment strategy, sales/margin planning, and in-season forecasting. Partner with Buying teams to develop annual sales, receipt, markdown, and inventory plans by category, informed by historical analysis and corporate strategy. Own the weekly/monthly forecasting process—ensuring timely, data-driven updates that guide proactive business decisions. Build and maintain exception reporting to monitor top/poor performers, category trends, and inventory health at macro and item levels. Drive post-mortem and event-based analyses (e.g., product launches, championship events) to inform future decisions and agility in high-demand moments. Guide inventory management strategies to ensure product availability, minimize liability, and respond to demand signals in real time. Partner cross-functionally to align financial plans with marketing cadence, promotions, inbound receipts, and customer behavior. Lead systems and reporting improvements with a focus on data integrity, scalable tools, and end-user usability across Planning and Merchandising. Build and develop a high-performing team that thrives on accuracy, speed, and strategic influence.

WHERE YOU WILL WORK & WHAT’S REQUIRED
Works on-site Jacksonville, FL Ability to travel up to 15% of the time for partner meetings, events, and other related activities. 10 years of experience in merchandise planning, demand planning, inventory management, or financial planning—preferably in eCommerce, retail, or omnichannel environments Proven experience leading and developing high-performing planning teams Strong financial and analytical acumen, with a track record of owning sales, margin, and inventory KPIs Deep understanding of end-to-end planning processes, including pre-season planning, in-season forecasting, inventory flow, and open-to-buy management Proficiency in planning and reporting tools. Strong business judgment with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills—capable of influencing at all levels of the organization Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving digital business with competing priorities Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred At Fanatics, we value transparency and honesty.
