Hybrid with three dedicated office days of Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with the opportunity to work from home Wednesday and Friday. Willingness to travel throughout the (10-15%) U.S. & Canada.

Are you ready to lead logistics on a global scale? Mosaic is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Logistics Marine to oversee and optimize our dry bulk marine transportation operations. In this high-impact role, you’ll negotiate and manage contracts across a diverse range of vessels and facilities—from barges and international ships to direct transfer and stevedore operations. You’ll also lead a talented team, drive innovation through new technologies, and build strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and customers. What you’ll do:

Lead strategic negotiations and maintain strong partnerships with major marine vessel and barge carriers to support Mosaic’s logistics objectives.

Partner with sales, product management, and senior leadership—internally and externally—to drive business growth and optimize commercial opportunities.

Negotiate competitive freight and service rates—including cross-gulf, barge, stevedoring, vessel freight, and agency fees—to align with the North American Commercial Strategy.

Strengthen Mosaic’s industry presence by actively engaging with key organizations, such as The Fertilizer Institute (TFI), to build influence and foster collaboration.

Oversee international ocean freight operations, including chartering, derivatives trading, and risk management, while establishing Mosaic’s freight risk position as a member of the Commodity Risk Committee (MCRC).Manage marine freight rates and fleet-related financial performance to ensure alignment with budget and strategic goals.

Develop and mentor team members to build capabilities, retain top talent, and support long-term organizational growth.

Provide regular, constructive feedback to ensure clarity of roles, expectations, and performance standards.

Address performance challenges promptly and professionally to maintain a high-performing team environment.

Support employee career development through personalized growth plans, training opportunities, and ongoing coaching.

What do you need for this role?
