Summary of Qualifications:

Knowledge of supply chain end to end review and processes. Demand planning experience. Ability to travel in Asia to support our growth plans. About this position:

The Supply Chain Department encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, mostly related to product purchase orders, sales order demand, and inventory management, product quality and purchasing. This new role will be focused on working with our overseas suppliers to improve reliability and reducing overall products costs in the supply chain. While we are sourcing from China today, we will be sourcing from other areas in Asia in the future. This role will help establish new regional suppliers and supply chains. They will lead efforts to source deeper into our supply chain and look at ways to reengineer our products to make them more cost effective. This Supply Chain Supervisor position is responsible for making incredibly significant contributions to the company’s future success. Essential Functions Manufacturing Expertise:

Leverage experience in manufacturing, preferably within lighting, electronics, or home goods, to drive supply chain excellence.

KPI Monitoring & Reporting:

Track key performance indicators and provide comprehensive reports and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.

Vendor Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply and continuous improvement.

Demand Planning:

Utilize demand planning experience to optimize inventory levels and meet customer needs efficiently.

Operational Standards Development:

Establish and uphold operational standards for suppliers, providing coaching and guidance for ongoing improvement.

Quality Standards Implementation:

Develop and enforce operational quality standards for vendors, collaborating closely with them to enhance product quality.

Product Cost Optimization:

Interpret product specifications and collaborate on re-engineering efforts to improve cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.

Quality Collaboration:

Partner with the quality team to maintain and elevate quality standards across the supplier base. Requirements This role could be a great fit if you bring:

Professional Experience:

Bring at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain management or related fields. Relevant areas include demand planning, contract manufacturing, third-party warehousing/3PL, importing, and manufacturing.

Educational Background:

Hold a university degree in industrial engineering, business, manufacturing, statistics or a related discipline.

Technical Proficiency:

Are comfortable using MS Excel and Word for analysis and reporting.

Manufacturing Know-How:

Possess hands-on technical experience in manufacturing or production environments.

Quality Focus:

Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Communication Skills:

Can clearly articulate your thoughts, ideas, and analytical results both in writing and verbally.

Energy & Proactivness:

Travel Readiness:
