A well-established national laboratory distribution company with warehouse locations in Florida, Utah, and New Jersey is seeking a certified and experienced Materials Manager to lead its multi-location supply chain operations. The company specializes in distributing medical and laboratory products across the U.S., imports from global partners in China and Europe, and manages a growing refurbished equipment program.

Full-time Key Responsibilities:

Oversee purchasing and materials planning across multiple warehouse locations Manage importation logistics from international and domestic suppliers Optimize inventory turnover and purchasing efficiency Lead and improve refurbished equipment supply chain Implement best-in-class procurement processes (aligned with CPIM or similar standards) Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Finance Negotiate and maintain vendor and supplier relationships Supervise and mentor supply chain staff

Qualifications:

Certification in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPM, CPSM, CPIM) Proven management experience in healthcare distribution (lab supply preferred) Experience with P21/Epicor ERP systems and advanced demand forecasting in multi-warehouse settings Strong understanding of international logistics and regulatory compliance Experience in managing refurbished or specialty equipment (preferred) Data-driven, detail-oriented, and proactive leadership approach
