Job Summary :
The Logistics Manager oversees all aspects of the warehouse operations including day-to-day workflow, asset accountability, systems management, fleet management, safety programs, general maintenance, and overall financial management success. The Logistics Manager will develop and administer effective processes and procedures to ensure the timely delivery and return of all assets to meet the needs of our venue operation teams
Essential Functions:
Creates and maintains a culture of safety in all aspects of the Warehouse Operations with emphasis on safety training, policy, inspection, and audits to ensure compliance Develop efficient and effective operational warehouse systems, processes, and controls to support overall business levels to ensure venue objectives are achieved Apply effective inventory management solutions to ensure a high level of operational productivity, asset availability, and asset tracking are utilized to reduce unnecessary shortages Create and maintain an equipment inspection process at warehouse level to ensure quality control and equipment performance is of the highest standard for rental assets, and any necessary repairs are managed expeditiously in a cost-effective manner Responsible for overall receiving and distribution of all assets relating to general Capex and supply orders, including inspection, accountability, processing, barcoding, shipment tracking and reporting Provide leadership, planning, direction, and delegation of tasks to the logistics team to achieve short-term daily workflow and long-term organizational objectives Conduct warehouse-level physical inventory audits on a regular schedule in an efficient and effective manner to ensure full accountability of all company assets Oversee and manage overall warehouse budget, expenses, personnel, building maintenance, material handling equipment, fleet vehicles, and general housekeeping Collaborate with the Learning & Development department to create Logistics and Warehouse training programs for all Warehouse Staff, and Logistic Techs involved with any type of warehouse operations, material lift equipment, and vehicles, including adherence to
FMSCA/DOT
Private Carrier regulations Develop and maintain accurate reporting metrics involving equipment utilization, shipments, repairs, transfers, sub-rents, transportation, and schedules as needed Seek new ways to bring innovation and efficiency to the Logistics and Warehouse Operations process, including general inventory management, operations, layout organization, and asset accountability Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
Minimum of four (4) years in Operational Warehouse leadership/supervisor role, or equivalent experience At least four (4) years of AV industry experience and knowledge of general equipment Hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERPs) and Project Management tools Demonstrated experience aligning team members to achieve common goals Ability to develop and foster long-term relationships (with internal teams and external partners)
