We are currently seeking an experienced Shipping Manager to lead outbound logistics operations at our client’s dynamic and growing facility. Role:
As Shipping Manager, you will oversee all aspects of outbound shipping, ensuring products are accurately packaged, labeled, and shipped on time. You’ll supervise a dedicated team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to maintain operational excellence and meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily shipping operations including fulfillment, packing, labeling, and scheduling carrier pickups. Supervise and train shipping and warehouse staff. Coordinate with customer service, production, and inventory teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Monitor and evaluate carrier performance and negotiate shipping rates when needed. Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and international shipping regulations. Maintain accurate documentation (BOLs, invoices, tracking). Improve shipping procedures to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and cost control. Collaborate with inventory on outgoing goods and returns. Utilize ERP/shipping software to manage logistics and tracking. Maintain stock of shipping materials and supplies without overstocking.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in shipping/logistics or warehouse operations, including at least 1 year in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes (FedEx, UPS, LTL, freight, etc.). Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and shipping software. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and customer satisfaction. Experience with broadband or telecom-related products is a plus.
