Job Summary Job Responsibilities Manage the company’s inventory control activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing raw materials and finished products Manage the receipt and storage of products, materials, equipment, parts, accessories, and supplies Monitor inspection of incoming items against orders for accuracy, completeness, and defects Arrange for the return and replacement of defective items Manage periodic and special inventories; accounts for inventory variances Develop and implement improvements in policies and procedures to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs Plan and coordinate the transfer of products, materials, equipment, parts, accessories, and/or supplies between/among warehouses Engage in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and controlling Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company May also have supervisory responsibility involving staffing, conducting performance appraisals, training and developing subordinates, promotions, salary increases, terminations, disciplinary actions, etc Job Responsibilities Part II Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
