Looking for an opportunity to make an impact? The National Security Sector at Leidos has an opening for a Logistics Operations Manager in Orlando, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the CHS-6 mission as a key member of the PMO team. The successful candidate will oversee performance of the Logistics Operations of the CHS-6 program and manage a team of 3 – 5 individuals. This is an in-person position located in the Orlando, FL warehouse.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serves as the principal for CommIT hardware warranty, logistics, and repair activities for the program. Assists in ensuring the quality delivery of operational support to include procurement planning, solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, and award. Maintains warranty and repair analysis data and works with 3rd party provides when necessary to facilitate strategic decisions. Responsible for oversight over all logistics activities for Delivery Orders, to include notification of delays, reporting of delivery status, facilitation of expediting requests, and invoice support. Oversees efforts to notify the customer of any product defects discovered prior to Government acceptance. Works closely with the warehouse staff to plan operations, prioritize activities, and resource appropriately. Coordinates with the customer and Leidos stakeholders (Subcontracts, Finance, Procurement, Compliance, Technical staff, and management) to define and prioritize program logistics goals. Continually develops creative strategies to increase program efficiencies. Supports program efforts to improve the company business case. Provides input to presentation and marketing materials for customer engagements and internal leadership briefings.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related scientific/technical discipline and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or a Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience. Due to federal contract regulations, US citizenship is required. Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. Ability to lead a matrixed team on the program’s vision for procurement, logistics, warranty and repair activities. Experience providing program oversight and execution for logistics efforts utilizing multiple vendors. Project management and operations management experience. Effective organization skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Knowledge of Government labeling and packaging processes and standards, such as
IUID, MIL-STD-129R, MIL DTL-19834C EIO2024

Pay Range:
Pay Range $112,450.00 – $203,275.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
