Spanning approximately 204,000 square feet, the hospital will include an emergency department; full-service imaging; five operating suites; endoscopy services; outpatient laboratory; heart catheterization labs; critical care and general medical/surgical rooms.   • The role you’ll contribute:
  • The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, measuring, and leading facility supply chain operations and efforts.

This position is responsible for meeting key hospital and AdventHealth strategic and financial objectives and with a local focus on Supply Chain excellence. This position is responsible for the Supply Chain department and associated operations, staffing, training, customer service, and overall performance management. The Supply Chain Manager champions implementation of corporate-directed Supply Chain initiatives and communicates recommendations and opportunities to the Regional Supply Chain Director, Hospital CFO, and other hospital leaders and clinicians.

  • + Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Supply Chain department.

+ Manages, assesses, and develops all Supply Chain staff, identifying skill and capability gaps amongst staff and creating and implementing plans to close those gaps. + Works collaboratively with AH Supply Chain /Shared Services to ensure open communication and issue resolution with the local facility. + Manages department to meet budgets for all assigned departments. Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Ability to provide leadership, strategic direction, oversight and management for a supply chain function, working at hospital level
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrated understanding of clinical/functional departments and hospital operations
  • Ability to build and lead a team of people
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial results and develop plans to address areas of under performance
  • Demonstrated competence using Supply Chain/ERP systems

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED

  • Proficient using PeopleSoft MMIS + Demonstrated understanding of overall healthcare supply chain
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s degree and
  • 4 or more years’ experience working in supply chain

  • Supervisory experience
  • Previous PeopleSoft Supply Chain experience
