Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency. •

Procurement Management:

Manage procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices. •

Inventory Control:

Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while meeting customer demand and maintaining service levels. •

Logistics and Distribution:

Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely delivery of products. •

Supplier Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to foster collaboration and resolve issues proactively. •

Performance Monitoring:

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. •

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate disruptions and ensure continuity of supply. •

Team Leadership:

Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. •

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role. •

Industry Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and trends in the food distribution or manufacturing industry. •

Analytical Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. •

Communication Skills:

Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with internal teams, external partners, and senior management. •

Leadership Abilities:

Proven leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. •

Technical Proficiency:
