Position Summary:
Censys Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Manager to lead and optimize our inventory operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all inventory activities, including shipments, stock levels, transfers, and physical inventory counts. The Inventory Manager plays a critical role in ensuring optimal inventory availability across locations, supporting smooth production operations, and driving cost-effective inventory control strategies.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate, real-time records of inventory across multiple locations using internal inventory management systems. Track all inventory movements, including shipments, receipts, transfers, and returns. Oversee and coordinate the receipt, storage, and proper categorization of incoming goods. Create and manage shipping documentation including labels, freight assignments, and bills of lading. Conduct and lead monthly and quarterly physical inventory counts and ensure reconciliation with system data. Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast inventory needs and maintain optimal stock levels. Implement and uphold inventory control procedures and policies to reduce shrinkage and overstock. Manage freight cost allocation and partner with logistics vendors to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery. Supervise inventory clerks or associates, providing training and ensuring compliance with processes. Drive improvements in inventory accuracy, workflow efficiency, and organization. Maintain production records of all products using internal inventory management systems.
Skills/Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse supervision, or supply chain operations. Strong proficiency with inventory software and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis). Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Professional, proactive communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of logistics, inventory control, and best practices.
