Main Duties Lead Shipping Department operations, achieving service excellence and maintaining operational standards. Direct team coaches to facilitate effective operations. Conduct performance evaluations, advance employee development, manage attendance recording, process payroll, and enforce disciplinary procedures. Drive communication by hosting daily department meetings and participating in cross-functional sessions to propose improvements and new strategies. Solve client and manifest discrepancies. Guide associate development strategies. Supervise shipment loading operations, manage paperwork, oversee supply inventories, conduct data uploads, finalize daily close-outs, and report findings. Operate warehouse vehicles including forklifts. Enhance safety measures and maintain dock security. Qualifications 3+ years of specialization in the shipping and logistics field. Experience with WMS systems like AS/400, Kronos, etc. Computer literacy in word processing and spreadsheets. Certification for operating warehouse vehicles.
