VP, Supply Chain – East Division
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
10+ years of experience in supply chain management.
Significant experience in wholesale distribution. Job Summary Leads the supply chain operations of theanization which includes strategic planning, coordination, and optimization of all activities related to the sourcing, procurement, production, logistics, and distribution of goods and services across a large geographic area. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities Oversees management of logistics, warehousing, and distribution of products across the United States.
Identifies and implements cost-cing initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance across the division.
Develops and maintains strategic business relationships with providers, ensuring negotiated contracts meet quality and service standards.
Monitors and analyzes performance metrics, including on-time delivery and quality assurance ratings, to drive continuous improvement.
Communicates process improvements and changes effectively, fostering a collaborative team environment, championing theanization’s culture, and fulfilling the customer promise.
Provides feedback to the supply chain management team to enhance leadership capabilities and identify essential leadership skills.
Develops strategic plans to optimize the supply chainwork, leveraging technology and best practices to improve efficiency and ce costs.
Acts as a key liaison between different departments to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities with other business operations. Nature and Scope Problems areplex and difficult. Solutions requireplicated, extensive analysis and detailed investigation.
Sets or changes the operational plans/goals of an area/business.
Leads major business processes or support functions to executepany strategies. Work Environment Located in afortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Most of the time is spent sitting in afortable position and t is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions t may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time. Education and Experience Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 10+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management role having significant business impact.
