Warehouse & Inventory Control Manager 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars Marietta, GA 30064 We’re recruiting on behalf of a confidential manufacturing client in Marietta, GA seeking a hands-on Warehouse & Inventory Control Manager to lead shipping, receiving, inventory operations, and kitting in support of a fast-paced production environment. This role is critical to ensuring on-time shipments , inventory accuracy , and efficient coordination with assembly operations . The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven leader who takes full ownership of day-to-day operations and team performance. Key Responsibilities Inventory Control Develop and enforce inventory control policies and procedures Conduct regular audits, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies Maintain inventory records in the ERP system Lead the team to ensure real-time accuracy of all inventory movements Identify and implement process improvements to reduce errors and increase efficiency Warehouse Operations & Team Leadership Supervise staff handling shipping, receiving, and kitting Ensure all domestic and international shipments are fulfilled on time Manage incoming goods inspection and part receipt Oversee kitting of inventory and purchased components into work orders for machine assembly Set clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable Promote a culture of safety, urgency, and continuous improvement Logistics Support Coordinate freight and courier shipping Interface with vendors and contractors to ensure smooth logistics Manage documentation for international shipments as needed Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum 5 years of inventory control experience Minimum 2 years of warehouse supervisory experience Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory workflows Familiarity with ERP systems Exposure to international shipping and documentation Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills Strong “get-it-done” mindset with a hands-on leadership style Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting manufacturing or assembly operations Knowledge of kitting or build-to-order environments APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a plus Why This Role Matters This role plays a vital part in keeping production on schedule and customers satisfied.
