We’re looking for an experienced and energetic Inventory Manager to “reinvent” our materials management operation and ensure our team has everything we need to produce and ship our customers’ orders on time and at the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Procurement:
Oversee staff doing the daily purchasing of production materials and supplies, ensuring accuracy, availability, and alignment with production needs.
Vendor Relationship Management:
Directly manage strategically important vendor relationships, ensuring performance, pricing, and reliability expectations are met. Supervise and support staff handling non-strategic vendor relationships.
MRP System Oversight:
Set, monitor, and continuously improve parameters in our MRP system, including reorder points, lead times, and safety stock levels.
Cycle Counting Management:
Schedule, oversee, and continuously refine our cycle counting program to maintain inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Strategic Procurement Leadership:
Lead efforts to source new vendors, negotiate pricing and terms with key suppliers, and collaborate with Engineering to identify alternative materials or suppliers that improve product quality or reduce costs.
Inbound Freight Oversight:
Manage and optimize inbound freight operations to ensure the best balance of cost, reliability, and service.

Proven experience in inventory management, procurement, and materials planning in manufacturing environments using MRP Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and inventory control processes Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and leadership skills Strategic thinker with an eye for continuous improvement Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, especially with Production, Engineering, and Shipping Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills Why Join Us?
