Site Manager Atlanta Logistics Center
The Atlanta Logistics Center Site Manager will support multiple programs that utilize Bell’s 3PL Atlanta facility to warehouse contract inventory. The Site Manager is responsible for the end to end logistics execution process associated with providing parts and support services to US Government customers in accordance with Bell processes and specific government contracts.
The Site Manager will lead a team of Bell employees in support of Military Sustainment contracts. The team will work with Bell’s 3PL to ensure efficient processes are in place for the execution of receiving, inventory management including VMI, packaging, and shipping. This includes oversight of customer order fulfillment, inventory records, item usage history, and transactional movements in SAP.
What you’ll be doing as a
Site Manager Atlanta Logistics Center:
Lead a team of individuals in support of Military Sustainment contracts
Interact with 3PL, VMI supplier, USG customer and Bell personnel as needed to support daily activities
Monitor KPIs, identify potential risks, and coordinate corrective action to support timely daily execution
Support and manage relationships with 3PL and VMI supplier
Manage inventory optimization, right part, right place, and on time. Reducing inventory investment, improving inventory turns and increasing material availability for the Customer.
Monitor customer order backlog and orchestrate necessary activities for timely execution of warehouse activities to achieve OTD performance metrics
Work with team to coordinate cross-functional logistics execution efforts and communication between Bell support organizations, 3PL, VMI supplier, and USG customer
Lead team in supporting COI/PBL contracts, CONOPS designs, market basket growth pertaining to 3PL/VMI, market basket supply coordination, PC&L coordination, Procurement DR/RTV resolution/shipments, and IT coordination.
Support all aspects of inventory management supporting the COI/PBL contracts, including shortage issue resolution, Purchase Orders, inventory shrinkage, expedites, and cycle counts
Coordinate root case analysis for identified issues as needed
Support 3PL and internal customer inquiries as needed
Provide reports and requested information as needed, including data for Bell, 3PL, VMI, and Military Sustainment Program Reviews
Facilitate and manage both internal and external audit processes

What you need to be successful:
Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Business Administration or similar discipline is required. Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
Minimum 6 years total experience required in logistics management, supply chain environment, or project management.
Experience in aviation industry is preferred
1-3 years of leadership experience is preferred
Good understanding of logistics, inventory and supply chain metrics
