Operations Agent 1 Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

Job Description:

Schedule/Hours:

2pm-11pm MON

• FRI (Occasional Saturday)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Contracting new carriers
• Negotiatingfreight rates
• Develop collaborative carrier relationships andwork with Account Managers to ensure quality service
• Assigningcarriers and providing load tenders
• Find and develop newlogistics/freight opportunities and design carrier solutions forother Pilot offices and external customers
• Other duties asassigned

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

• Must have experience managing highcall and email volume
• Excellent verbal and written communicationskills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze informationskillfully

EXPERIENCE

• At least 6 months Customer serviceexperience, preferably in the transportation industry

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS

• This position requires standing and walking forextended periods of time.

Position requires employee to frequentlystoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend and lift objects abovetheir head. Employee must be able to regularly lift/move up to 50pounds and use pallet jacks and forklifts. Position requiresregular use of a phone and a PC and reading and writing of variousshipping documents.
