On-Site | Alpharetta, GA Position Summary NutraSky Manufacturing, a leading nutraceutical supplement manufacturer, is seeking a dependable and experienced Supply Chain Logistics Lead to manage the daily logistics operations within our facility. This role is responsible for the accurate handling of inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, and coordination with internal departments to ensure operational efficiency. As a key member of the operations team, the supply chain logistics lead will oversee the receiving of raw materials, shipping of finished goods, and maintenance of a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. This position requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. Key Responsibilities Inbound Logistics Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments for accuracy and quality Match deliveries to purchase orders and report discrepancies Record inventory receipts and properly store incoming materials in designated areas Outbound Logistics Coordinate and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation Schedule pickups and ensure timely dispatch through appropriate carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL, etc.) Maintain clear and accurate shipping logs and records Inventory Management Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using inventory management software Support and lead routine cycle counts and reconciliation processes Collaborate with production and procurement teams to align inventory with demand Leadership & Communication Act as the lead point of contact in the shipping/receiving area Train and guide warehouse staff on receiving, shipping, and safety procedures Communicate effectively with internal teams (R D, Quality, Production, Procurement) regarding inventory flow and order status Safety & Equipment Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently Enforce company safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and facility protocols Maintain cleanliness and order in the shipping/receiving area Additional Duties Assist with logistics process improvements and special projects Support audits and quality inspections as needed Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations (manufacturing preferred) Strong organizational and multitasking skills Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and shipment verification Proficient with shipping platforms and inventory systems (experience with Fishbowl is a plus) Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, shipping portals, label printing) Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and regulatory compliance Work Environment This role is performed in a warehouse setting at NutraSky Manufacturing’s facility in Alpharetta, GA. The Supply Chain Logistics Lead will be regularly exposed to raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished dietary supplements. Physical activity including lifting, standing, and moving throughout the facility is required. The role demands strict adherence to cleanliness, accuracy, and safety protocols in a GMP-compliant environment.
