JOBSUMMARY

Manage and direct reporting group to ensure customerservice and automation strategies across the network exceedsCapstone Logistics and Partner expectations. Develop, lead andmanage organization-wide automation deployments, continuousimprovement (CI) strategy and re-engineering of supply chainprocesses and systems, initially focused on client group withpotential subsequent roll-out to all sites. Establish KPIs andother performance goals and objectives. Lead related changemanagement. Monitor and track progress at the site and aggregatelevel. Conduct business reviews with partners to ensure that we areaware of concerns and process improvement opportunities as theydevelop and to enhance value-add relationships.

Supervise and manage cross functional teammembers to deliver network improvement results Develop, maintainand monitor annual operating budget for projects and teams Developautomation team for future implementations

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities:

Operations Manage Customer Relations at sitesalong with peer network Oversight on Regional Operations Managersand Site Managers to ensure all sites operate in accordance withcorporate policies and procedures Develop key initiatives thatimprove overall operating efficiencies of both internal andexternal customers with plan for implementation Identify siteoperational improvement opportunities and develop strategies forresolution Build and maintain strong internal and externalrelationships Part of monthly audits at all sites to ensure safetyand administrative policies are being followed Communicate weeklyand as needed with key stakeholders at assigned sites and respondimmediately to any issues or concerns Supply Chain Develop and leadbest practices supply chain and continuous improvement (CI)strategy, framework and related supply chain processes, beginningat the site and client group level with scaling capability acrossthe company Lead deployment of new policies, practices andprocesses and related change management. Collaborate with sitemanagement and internal resources on KPIs to support internal andpartner needs, performance goals and objectives using metrics totrack progress. Monitor and report status, including progress andrisks, to leadership and other key stakeholders Maximize use ofcurrent tools and systems – internally and externally. Ensure thatwe have the right tools and capabilities to achieve processexcellence and measurable improvements. Present supply chainanalysis, options and costs to leadership Develop standardizedprocess documentation and operating documents Continuously reviewand understand Capstone’s supply chain needs and identifyadditional process improvement opportunities Automation Propose,implement and sustain the network transformation and automationsystems strategy and roadmap in alignment with partner objectivesManagement of relationship between the partners and Captoneensuring internal expectations are met in alignment oforganizational strategic roadmap Deliver proposals on thedevelopment of the automation systems to facilitate theoptimization of the supply chain network Accountable for automationlong term strategic delivery to site leadership team with a3-5-year vision of execution Provide expert guidance on newtechnologies and emerging automation system trends for process andbusiness reengineering. Liaise with partner teams ensuring highstandards of service delivery and engage to influence continuousimprovement opportunities for site operations Ensure security,compliance and data integrity regulatory standards are maintainedacross all partner systems across the network Understand currentsystem design and partner with key stakeholders and site leadershipto deliver ideas and solutions to ensure ongoing optimized deliveryof operations. Establish and manage a high performing staff byrecruiting, training, coaching, and developing employees,communicating job expectations and appraising their performance insupport of automation infrastructure Facilitate internal resourcesand outside vendors in developing technical solutions for automatedequipment Identify and develop relationships with integratorpartners for execution of strategic automation projects •PerformsAdditional Responsibilities As Assigned• CB Capstone Logistics, LLCis part of The Transportation and Logistics industry which has beendesignated a “Critical Infrastructure Segment”.
