This Job reports to the Regional DirectorSupply Chain or Market Director Supply Chain, with dotted lineresponsibility to the facility Vice President of Finance, and/orthe facility CFO. The Director of Supply Chain will provideministry organization and direction for the advancement of theSupply Chain process for

CHRISTUS.

In coordination with theRegional Director Supply Chain, responsibilities include facilityspecific oversight on supply management process improvements.

Position includes development and maintenance of workflowassessments, quality assurance, contract implementation, datamanagement, Supply Chain System policy and procedure development/maintenance, and Associate career development. This Job willcollaborate with the ministry financial leadership to developsupply chain strategies that meet the System goals.

  • Support Regional Director Supply Chain orMarket Director Supply Chain in establishing the strategicdirection of Supply Chain across the region.
  • Responsible forleading ministry-based teams in the identification, development andimplementation of facility wide improvement initiatives thatdeliver clinical, operational, and/or financial improvements.
  • Work with ministry leadership to track and manage facility-basedstaff productivity.
  • Work with ministry leadership to track andmanage facility-based operational performance.
  • Maintains theknowledge of the most up to date Supply Chain Management processes
  • Leads the process development of the Supply Chain Logisticsfunctions within the assigned ministry to include support withhuman resource management, logistics and operational processstandardization, facility service agreements, maintenanceagreements, capital and construction.

Ensures programs are in placeto comply with

HIPPA, OIG

Vendor Compliance, Vendor Integrity,Recalls and Alert or other regulatory system requirements.

  • Facilitates the accuracy, timeliness of item issues, returns,transfers, & adjustments of inventory within the Supply Chainapplications and Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply ManagementERP system. This will be done by monitoring of reports and metrics,ensuring Guidelines are adhered to and response times are met.
  • Collaborates in the long-term strategic planning process andensures a timely and thorough plan execution with continuousprocess improvement as it relates to the Supply Chain routines.
  • Participation in the Supply Chain Value Analysis Team meetings,External/Internal coordination of System wide product conversions,communication of contract changes and maintains the standards of

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business curriculum or ahigh school diploma and 6 years of experience in a supply chainrelated role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

  • Required 4 years of supervisory experience with aproven track record of completion of progressive tasks andresponsibilities.
  • 5-6 years of supply chain experience stronglypreferred.
  • Recommended 6-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge and experience working in ERP systems with a preferencein working with multiple systems such as Infor and Epic.
  • Experience initiating large projects and seeing them to completionwith a successful outcome.
  • Experience developing and writingpolicies and procedure.
  • General medical product and equipmentknowledge required.
  • Hospital supply chain experience in an acutecare setting preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
  • None Required.
