Responsibilities:
- Operating and maintaining a usable parts inventory for various manufacturers.
- Selling, ordering, and receiving parts.
- Maintaining the flow of parts for the repair shop.
- Filling orders from wholesale shops and individuals.
- Conveying information as to the availability of parts and the status of orders pending.
- Will be working closely w/Service Manager as well as clients (new and existing).
Knowledge Qualifications:
- Must understand basic accounting/bookkeeping principles.
- Inventory control.
- Expenses and how things are charged to different inventories.
- Creating reports.
- Reading P&L statements.
- Balance sheets
- Managing money (will be given a basic bookkeeping assessment).
- Will need to learn some of the terminology differences in the industry as well as CDK software.
Must be a team player, task-driven, self-starter, have excellent communication and organization skills, be able to follow processes in place, and good with time management. Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and MVR. Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm; maybe 2-3 Saturdays/year for special occurrences such as inventory and clean up.
