Job Description:

Manage parts department for truck and trailer repair shop. Manage all functions of parts department. Manage sales to outside customers as well as service department. Responsibilities (included but not limited to overseeing all parts room operations): Manage all functions of parts department Assist in hiring, training, and development of parts personnel Maintain accurate parts inventory levels and valuation Work closely with shop manager to order special order parts Order stock orders Inspect incoming freight for damage and process freight claims Maintain parts areas and keep neat and orderly Close repair orders and purchase orders daily Make sales calls as necessary to maintain customer base Maintain company tools, purchase of new tools, inventory company tools Qualifications College degree preferred Strong knowledge of parts management, shop operations, equipment knowledge preferred. Familiarity with inventory control practices and supply chain management principles. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers, customers, and team members. Proficiency in using technology and software related to parts management.

$44,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
