Store Manager and Assistant Manager General Purpose:
The Receiving Coordinator/Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring a seamless process of checking-in and receiving all vendor shipments, delivering between stores and to customers and vendors, as well as the maintenance and organization of the warehouse.
Work Schedule:

Responsibilities & Duties:
Inventory Control Warehouse organization Driving deliveries and picking up from customers, vendors, and between stores Maintain weekly communication with all vendors and delivery schedules Customer Service Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are kept and maintained throughout the warehouse and receiving area Loss Prevention Efficiently and accurately checking all deliveries Observing all store rules and company policies Enforcing store operating hours for receiving according to company policy Controlling the flow of vendor traffic through receiving doors Verifying deliveries to invoices Flagging attention to any discrepancies and shortages on invoice documents and obtain the signature of the delivery vendor for confirmation of such shortages according to company policy Handling damaged and spoiled products according to company policy and assist in controlling the level of damaged goods, including reporting of shrink totals Ensure that all damaged goods are returned to the distributor and the proper credits are received and sent to Corporate Performing accurate posting of all invoice documents to the receiving log and place all signed invoices in the designated and secure area Bailing cardboard boxes and cleaning dock as needed Use bailer, pallet jacks and forklifts in compliance with company safety policy Ensuring compliance with heath department, weights and measures requirements, liquor and tobacco laws, and invoice handling Practicing store safety rules and notifying a store manager of any potential hazard immediately Compute the retail price from cost, complete price changed Communicate with the store manager on problems, recommendations for change, effectiveness of plans and merchandising decisions Perform any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Store Manager, substituting for absent workers and performing any additional tasks necessary to provide products and services to customers during peak periods of business Required Education /
Experience:
Work and education history demonstrating stability 4+ years of experience in receiving Good communication skills Basic mathematical skills required (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) Experience, understanding, and knowledge of operations in a food service business/industry Merchandising experience Inventory Control Independently able to solve problems Self-Motivated Physical Demands Work on tile or concrete standing for extended periods of time Lift a maximum of 50 lbs. from 6 inches to 84 inches, overhead Move a maximum of 50 lbs. up to 15 yards Use maintenance and product transportation equipment Reach forward and/or down with both hands up to 36 inches Handle labels, signs or tags, case cutter or utility knife, grasp and handle wet, iced, cold, metal, paper, plastic products, cardboard, packaging, and debris. Bend and Twist at the waist while reaching and holding items Climb on ladders, racks, cases, shelving, and stairs up to three feet in height. Balance on wet, slick, dirty and debris strewn floors.
