Fleet & Equipment Operations Manager Why:

Currently, fleet oversight is divided among multiple departments, which is causing delays in our operations.

Responsible For:

• Implementing preventative maintenance programs and managing vendor relationships (repairs, tires, parts)
• Tracking equipment, reporting usage, and conducting condition assessments
• Monitoring fuel usage, managing insurance records, and analyzing cost performance
• Ensuring DOT compliance, conducting vehicle inspections, and maintaining documentation
• Coordinating dispatch and optimizing GPS/telematics
• Managing internal transfer logistics and asset allocation across locations

Looking For:

You understand the terminology. You have experience managing a substantial fleet or have worked in construction, materials, or supply chain logistics. You excel at building systems, optimizing expenses, and reducing operational waste.

Bonus:

• Implemented fleet management software or tracking systems
• Conducted cost/benefit analyses on repairs versus replacements
• Established centralized processes for dispatch, inspections, or compliance

Goal:

Transition us from reactive operations to a model that emphasizes control, clarity, and accountability in our equipment operations. Help us scale intelligently, focusing on smarter growth rather than just bigger operations.
