The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of parts ordering, pre-ordering, and handling returns/credits for our busy collision repair shop and Service Department. This role requires extensive knowledge of vehicle makes and models, as well as the ability to secure the best prices in a competitive market.

Key responsibilities:

• Order parts for new collision and Service repair jobs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Manage all pre-ordering to ensure parts are available before repairs begin.
• Research and negotiate with vendors to secure the best pricing and availability.
• Able to recognize repair vs replace.
• Maintain accurate records of all parts orders, inventory, and returns.
• Work closely with technicians and estimators to ensure proper parts are ordered.
• Ensure the shop runs smoothly by keeping parts organized and ready available.

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of all makes and models of vehicles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in auto body collision and service repair parts management.
• Ability to negotiate pricing and build relationships with suppliers.
• Proficiency in inventory management and order tracking systems,
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
