From a humble one truckbeginning, we now boast over 25 trucks in our fleet and 30 highlyskilled and trained plumbers and HVAC technicians on our crew. Our corecompetencies are all phases of plumbing, heating, cooling andmechanical. We provide prompt, courteous, reliable expert installation,repair and service work at a fair rate.
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Purchasing & Inventory ControlManager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible forpreparing and placing orders for various HVAC/Plumbing parts andequipment as specified in Purchase orders in a timely manner. This rolerequires strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectivelyin a team setting or independently. Criminal and background checks willbe performed, and candidates must have valid driver license. Cleandriving record is a must.

Job Duties:
- Preparing and placing orders for various HVAC/Plumbing parts andequipment as specified in Purchase Orders in a timely and efficientmanner
- Maintains good and positive working relationships with distributors,suppliers, and internal departments.
- Researching and evaluating products and distributors according tocrucial business criteria (quality, specifications, price, availability,etc.) and reviewing each Purchase Order for accuracy of technicalspecifications
- Negotiating pricing with all vendors and ensuring productpricing/invoicing consistency
- Inventory monitoring/Forecasting and maintaining the accuracy ofmaterials ordered and received
- Reviewing monthly vendor statements for accuracy before processing
- Developing standard operating procedures for the purchasingdepartment
- Maintaining accuracy of purchase order data: including items,quantities, due dates, special instructions and terms and conditions andreceipt dates.
- Resolve order and billing discrepancies in coordination withaccounting and vendors
- Process returned purchased items that are not acceptable or do notmeet specifications
- Create, modify and maintain submittal and transmittal processes
- Keeping team members informed of inventory issues
- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
- 5+ year experience of purchasing experience for an HVAC or plumbingcompany.
- High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
- Valid drivers license & clean driving record
- Inventory monitoring/Forecasting experience
- Wholesale and Distribution Channel experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to pass a criminal and background check
- Able to navigate technolog (Email, iPad, company specific softwareapplications)
