We’re seeking a Carrier Performance leader to join our team, focusing on managing relationships and optimizing logistics performance with our strategic national and regional carrier partners. This multifaceted role combines strategic partnership, negotiation, industry thought leadership, financial and analytical acumen, and logistics operations. If you have a strong background in carrier management, proven analytical skills, and the ability to cultivate robust internal and external relationships, we encourage you to apply. What You’ll Do:
Manage strategic carrier relationships, identifying and leading joint initiatives to foster collaboration and unlock new value.
Drive carrier performance, analyzing KPIs, and developing strategies to accelerate delivery speed and reduce transportation costs.
Evaluate carrier cost, service levels, and value-added services for optimal integration onto Wayfair’s platform.
Leverage data, analytics, and new technologies to develop innovative strategies for efficient and cost-effective customer delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic initiatives and contribute to team growth.
What You’ll Need:
MBA/Masters preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in strategic relationship management within logistics, consulting, or carrier operations.
Action-oriented leader who can effectively drive complex projects to completion through strong project management, communication, and influence.
Highly analytical and quantitative, capable of extracting insights from data and communicating them to senior leadership.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
Self-motivated and proactive, comfortable making sound business decisions amidst ambiguity and competing priorities.
Proficiency in Excel is highly preferred, and experience with Manhattan TMS systems is a significant plus.
An Important Note about
Wayfair’s In-Office Policy:
All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday – Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
