The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing logistics processes, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, and optimizing warehouse management. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate with various departments to enhance our logistics performance, while ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company policies and industry standards. Supervise logistics personnel and warehouse staff, ensuring performance, training, and compliance. Coordinate with production, quality control, and sales to ensure timely order fulfillment. Develop and implement efficient logistics and shipping strategies to minimize costs and delivery times. Ensure all shipments meet quality and customer specifications and are delivered on time. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper handling of plastic materials. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization in support of lean manufacturing principles. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, order fulfillment/accuracy, and inventory turnover. Resolve issues related to shipping delays, damaged goods, or misdirected shipments. Prepare and manage logistics budgets, forecasts, and reports. Implement improvements when necessary.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in logistics management or a related field. 5+ years of experience in logistics or warehouse management, preferably in plastics or manufacturing environments. Proficient in logistics software (ERP/WMS), Microsoft Office Suite, and inventory management tools. Experience in fleet management and transportation logistics. Understanding of order fulfillment processes. Knowledge of demand planning and materials management principles. Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Forklift certification and knowledge of material handling equipment is preferred.
