Overview
Job Summary
Provides leadership over the materials management departments. Responsible for the management and purchasing of all medical/surgical supplies, linen, medical equipment, services and capital assets for the hospitals. Responsible for assuring departmental contribution to overall hospital performanace and theanization’s mission and goals. Under the administrative direction of the corporate supply chain department and hospital CFO. Incumbent is responsible for all shifts, 7 days/week, 24 hours/day and subject to overtime and callback as required by hospitals.
Responsibilities
Monitor supply needs of customers and develops improvement plans with measurable goals to enhance services. Promotes BMHCC vision/values through personal example and interaction with staff and ensurespliance with BMHCC policies and procedures. Directs overall operation of materials management departments and works with staff and customers to enhance efficiency and quality of service. Controls overall financial/budgetary management of the department through analysis of departmental operations and identifies opportunities for cost reduction. Communicates and interacts with staff and key customers to improve customer satisfaction. Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed. Specifications

Minimum Required
At least 2 years of relevant leadership experience. Preferred/Desired
Experience in healthcare with demonstrated abilities to direct team activities to direct team activities as well in basic business applicants. Education
