Monday-Friday, First Shift What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements. The supervisor will manage and oversee inventory procedures, ensuring accuracy of inventory levels, records, and stock reconciliations. They also manage the flow and storage of products, supervise inventory personnel, and may coordinate with suppliers. Qualifications 4-8 years of experience, preferred Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred Experience in inventory management, preferred Knowledge of inventory software and systems, preferred Analytical skills for data analysis and reporting Strong organizational and leadership skills What is expected of you and others at this level Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations or business staff Administers and exercises policies and procedures Ensures employees operate within guidelines Decisions have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution Responsibilities Oversee and manage inventory, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, conducting audits, resolving discrepancies and cost-effectiveness Uses data and reports to track inventory performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions Supervises the daily work assignments and performance of associates. Tracks efficiency and productivity metrics to determine which tasks are behind
