Inventory Control Manager Position Available In Pearl River, Mississippi

Inventory Control Manager Turley International Resources 1205 Palestine Rd, Picayune, MS 39466 The Inventory Control Manager oversees the ordering, storing, receiving and distributing processes of the companys products and supplies. Controlling the flow of supplies and equipment, tracking and analyzing inventory maintenance and developing protocols for loss mitigation. Purchasing and control of Inventory Raw Material.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES 1.

Issuing all purchase orders for inventory raw materials, making sure the quantity and the pricing is correct. 2. Receiving in of all inventory purchase orders and some inventory transfers, making sure the correct quantity, price and landed cost is notated in the item receipt transaction. 3. Communicating with Vendors on pricing, lead times, purchasing forecasts, and any issues that may arise. 4. Continually monitoring usage levels, and reorder points for all raw materials. 5. Making sure pricing for material and freight is updated on the Master Recipe Workbook. 6. Maintain accurate inventory numbers. 7. Supervision of any inventory adjustments. 8. Correct consistent inventory issues. 9. Monitoring and maintaining correct information for all inventory/assembly items in Company systems (pricing, stock levels, Bill of Materials, vendor info). 10. Taking part in each Inventory and Cycle counting. 11. Inventory Reconciliation. 12. Monitoring stock levels needed and warehouse space. 13. Communicating with Production on inventory issues, raw material needs, and warehouse organization. 14. Creating warehouse organization, and flow to maximize efficiency for shipping and production. 15. Other related duties as needed

Supervision of Inventory Control specialists.

COMPETENCIES EDUCATION

Should have a High School diploma or equivalent education level as a minimum. Knowledge of computer applications, basic mathematics and computer skills.

EXPERIENCE

Should have some experience in dispatch and warehouse activities. Experience with spreadsheet and database software like Microsoft Excel. Two- tor Three-years experience working in the same position. Experience in retail, manufacturing or relevant is an added advantage.
