Director of Distribution Center – Ecommerce Fulfillment

We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on leader to oversee our direct-to-consumer ecommerce fulfillment operations. As Director of DC Ecommerce Fulfillment, you’ll drive logistics strategy, optimize warehouse performance, and lead end-to-end fulfillment, ensuring products move with precision from cart to customer. This role is at the intersection of operations, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and own the entire ecommerce fulfillment lifecycle—from order receipt through final mile delivery.
Ensure exceptional order accuracy, speed, and delivery performance.
Drive warehouse efficiency by developing and executing operational strategies and continuous improvement plans.
Prepare and scale operations for increasing ecommerce volume and new business growth.
Identify, evaluate, and implement automation solutions that boost performance and reduce costs.
Plan for seasonal fluctuations and promotional peaks—aligning labor and transportation resources accordingly.
Oversee and audit carrier spend and invoice compliance across all ecommerce accounts.
Lead parcel invoice validation and approvals.
Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate leading technologies to keep us competitive.
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive performance, streamline costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Develop KPIs and foster a culture of data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and negotiate favorable rates and terms.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and operational standards.
Own and manage the ecommerce fulfillment budget.

What You Bring:

5+ years of leadership experience in fulfillment operations, business processes, or program management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent experience (required).
MBA or related master’s degree (preferred).
Hands-on experience managing or scaling ecommerce operations, especially direct-to-consumer.
Experience implementing warehouse automation solutions (preferred).
Proven track record of driving measurable operational improvements and delivering results.

Data-savvy:

comfortable using analytics to inform strategy and optimize performance.
Deep understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory controls.
