Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Utility Operator with converting experience to join our team at Menasha Packaging. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in paper production, specifically in converting processes. Experience with flatbed and die-cut operations is preferred. As a Utility Operator, you will be responsible for supporting various production processes, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery, and maintaining high-quality standards.

- Uptime Champion
- Participate in maintenance and troubleshooting activities to minimize downtime and maximize through put
- CIMMS Champion
- Ability to troubleshoot and ensure smooth operation of
CIMMS WIP
Storage system running in automatic
- stock is flowing to machine centers without interruption
- all stock on WIP storage lines is identified in the system (NO “5’s”)
- Ensure all materials necessary for efficient set up and production orders are available at machines are ready (minimum 3 orders ahead)
- Assist with Make Ready and Set Up activities on assigned assets
- Collaborate with team members to ensure that production goals and quality standards are met consistently.

SAFETY CHAMPION
- Active participant in Safety Snag program
- Active participant in Safety Committee
- Monitor raw materials and supply inventory on a weekly basis working with Supervisor to ensure inventory levels are maintained above the minimum.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records of machine performance and output. Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Level 2 Operator or in a similar role within a paper plant, specifically in converting processes desired.
- Previous experience with training others, demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate concepts and facilitate learning.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
