Material Flow/Control Supervisor The Bradley Group Lexington, NC 27295 Material Flow Control Supervisor Lexington, NC | Full-Time | Manufacturing / Supply Chain Are you ready to take command of material flow in a fast-paced production environment? Join a team where your leadership will directly impact production efficiency, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery. We’re seeking a proactive, hands-on Material Flow Control Supervisor to lead a team of 30-35 material handlers and ensure that materials move seamlessly to the production lines—on time, every time. In this role, you’ll do more than just supervise—you’ll analyze, improve, and lead end-to-end material transactions and strategies that keep operations running like a well-oiled machine. What You’ll Do Oversee daily material flow operations and anticipate potential disruptions. Lead, train, and motivate a team of material handlers to meet operational goals. Collaborate with production and other supervisors to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Track and report daily metrics for material movements and system transactions. Conduct performance reviews, recommend development opportunities, and support employee growth. Drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy, shortage reduction, and material flow efficiency. Participate in audits, cycle counts, physical inventories, and ECN implementation. Maintain strong safety and housekeeping standards within the department. What You Bring At least 3 year’s of supervisory experience , preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience). Proficiency in inventory management systems (JDE or AS400 experience preferred). Strong working knowledge of BOMs, material transactions, and inventory best practices . Solid skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. A sharp eye for identifying discrepancies and resolving root causes.
