Inventory Lead Job Summary:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented inventory lead to manage accurate inventory records and material reconciliation in a high-paced warehouse setting. This role plays a key part in supporting cross-functional operations by maintaining system accuracy, coordinating material flow, and ensuring efficient inventory processes.

Centerpoint What You’ll Do Team Leadership:
Provide daily guidance and mentorship to inventory personnel, fostering professional development and operational excellence
Inventory Management:
Maintain and optimize accurate inventory levels for products, materials, and supplies across the organization
Process Control:
Lead comprehensive inventory control processes, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing discrepancies
Operational Coordination:
Collaborate closely with procurement, production, and shipping departments to maintain inventory accuracy
Analytical Oversight:
Monitor inventory metrics, develop strategic improvement initiatives, and implement corrective actions
Continuous Improvement:
Support and drive inventory management enhancement projects
Training and Development:
Educate team members on inventory best practices, company standards, and advanced management techniques
Cycle Counting:
Conduct regular inventory reconciliation activities and ensure precise record-keeping
Problem Resolution:
Troubleshoot complex inventory challenges with decisive and innovative solutions
What You’ll Bring Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience :
2 – 4 years in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics
Systems Knowledge :
Proficiency with WMS, ERP, or inventory tracking software
Tools & Software :
Familiarity with order processing systems, Excel, and distribution platforms
Inventory Skills :
Experience in stocking, order tracking, and shipment receiving
Problem Solving :
Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on inventory accuracy
Communication :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to
Detail :
Highly organized with a sharp eye for identifying inconsistencies
Math Skills :
Comfortable with basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Workplace Physical Demands:
Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, and crawling in tight spaces. Must be able to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 60 pounds occasionally.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a production environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures. May involve working in confined spaces and both indoor and outdoor conditions. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): PPE is required, including but not limited to safety glasses, ear protection, steel-toed shoes, and high-visibility apparel.
Frequent Movement:
Use of hands, wrists, and arms in repetitive motion, as well as operation of machinery, diagnostic equipment, and computers.
