The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and experience within the powersports or automotive repair industry. This role is crucial in ensuring that our inventory systems are efficient and that supplier relationships are managed effectively. The Parts Manager will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, managing procurement processes, and ensuring that all parts are readily available to meet operational demands. Responsibilities Manage the parts inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment. Oversee procurement management processes, including supplier selection and negotiation of pricing. Utilize Lightspeed systems for tracking inventory and managing orders. Develop and maintain supplier management strategies to ensure quality and reliability of parts. Collaborate with warehouse management to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Analyze supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the parts department. Train and supervise staff within the parts department, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence. Requirements Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably automotive repair sectors. Strong understanding of inventory systems, including lightspeed dms. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. Familiarity with procurement management practices. Knowledge of warehouse management principles is preferred. Strong analytical skills to assess supply chain performance metrics.
