Full Job Description Position Title:

Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager to oversee our manufacturing company’s procurement and inventory operations. This critical role is responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of materials, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and negotiating with vendors to support production goals and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with production schedules and company objectives Source, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production to prevent shortages or excess stock Analyze market trends and conduct cost analyses to support budgeting and forecasting Implement inventory control systems and maintain accurate records of stock levels, deliveries, and shipments Collaborate cross-functionally with production, finance, and logistics teams to streamline operations Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience in purchasing and inventory management within a manufacturing environment Strong negotiation skills and analytical mindset Proficiency in computer programs such as Word and Excel and inventory management software QuickBooks Enterprise (can be trained) Excellent organizational and communication skills Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field in a definite plus!
