Youngsville, NC 27596 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Parts Manager to oversee our parts department and ensure the efficient management of inventory and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in demand planning, inventory control, and customer service within a dealership environment. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and familiarity with order management systems. The Parts Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal stock levels, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage the parts department’s daily operations, including inventory control and order management. Develop and implement effective demand planning strategies to ensure adequate stock levels. Negotiate pricing with suppliers to optimize cost efficiency while maintaining quality. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with parts inquiries Train and supervise staff within the parts department to enhance productivity and service quality. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales, and supplier transactions. Operate forklifts safely for the movement of parts within the store. Qualifications Proven experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar role within a dealership environment. Strong knowledge of demand planning, inventory control, and order management systems. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients. Proficient in negotiating prices and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes. Familiarity with AS400 or equivalent software for managing orders and inventory is preferred. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
