Job Description:

Meel Corp a frozen food company is seeking an Operations & Inventory Supervisor based at our production plant to manage inventory, ensure compliance with documentation requirements, and coordinate communication with the head office. The Operations & Inventory Supervisor ensures that all production, inventory, and order fulfillment activities are properly documented, verified, and accurately entered into the system. This role safeguards the integrity of production records, raw material usage, finished goods reporting, and outbound fulfillment processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Production and Inventory Management:
  • Maintain accurate production inventory records in real time.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies quickly.
  • Support the shipping department with inventory adjustments and shipping documentation.
  • Verify that all production paperwork is properly filled out, complete, and reflects the actual usage of raw materials and ingredients.
  • Ensure that finished goods created match the documentation in production records.
  • Conduct daily reviews and audits of production documentation to confirm compliance and accuracy.
  • Oversee the scanning of production paperwork into the system and validate that the digital cords match physical documentation and inventory records.
  • Support the Facility Manager in maintaining operations in compliance with SQF Level 2 standards.
  • Work closely with Warehouse Lead and production staff to correct discrepancies and provide additional training if needed.
Outbound Order Fulfillment Oversight:
  • Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders, maintaining inventory availability.
  • Ensure that outbound orders are fulfilled accurately according to customer orders and that all items are correctly picked, packed, and loaded.
  • Oversee the scanning and system entry of all outbound shipments, ensuring that scanned data matches order requirements and shipping documents.
  • Conduct spot checks and audits on truck loads to confirm compliance before departure.
  • Work closely with the Shipping and Receiving Lead to correct discrepancies and provide additional training if needed.
Systems Management and Reporting:
  • Act as the main communication link between the production plant and head office.
  • Provide regular updates on production inventory, shipping, and order fulfillment.
  • Maintain and manage digital records of production, inventory, and fulfillment activities to ensure compliance.
  • Regularly review system data for inconsistencies and work with relevant teams to resolve any issues.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to track compliance metrics, generate reports, and identify trends or areas for improvement.

Life:

Operations & Inventory Supervisor As our Operations & Inventory Supervisor, you’ll begin each day by reviewing the previous day’s production records, verifying that recorded inventory reports match the actual ingredients used. You’ll spend time on the production floor checking inventory accuracy, scanning practices, and ensuring finished goods align with documentation. You’ll also audit outbound shipments, confirming each truck was loaded correctly and that system records are fully up to date. Throughout the day, you’ll communicate with head office, maintain inventory spreadsheets, investigate discrepancies with team leads, and support the Facility Manager in maintaining SQF compliance Every day, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our operations smooth, accurate, and audit-ready.
