About the Role The Supply Chain Manager, Aftermarket will manage the PartsIntegrated Program in conjunction with our Global Supply OperationsTeam to enhance supplier performance while managingcross-functional teams and building collaborative relationships.
Setting objectives and working with others on executing andimplementing supply chain strategy aligned with Global Sourcing,Product Managers, Business and Engineers. Responsible fordeveloping and improving commodity management and sourcing toprocesses to enhance price, quality, timing, and reliability ofCarrier outcomes. This position can be located at Carrier’s Atlanta, Charlotte orPalm Beach Gardens, FL office.
Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Process:
Oversee the implementation of thecomprehensive category strategy for Aftermarket parts, aligned withthe organization’s overall procurement and business objectiveswithin the optimum Supply Chain Process with vendors. Conductmarket research and analysis to identify new opportunities,potential risks, and emerging trends within the Aftermarket HVACindustry.
Supplier Management:
Lead the work process for supplierrelationship management activities. Establish and maintain strongpartnerships with key suppliers to ensure the highest quality,competitive pricing, and timely delivery of materials, components,and products.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
Align key negotiationprocess with Global sourcing and RCD organization with theimplementation of the best supply chain with vendors. Evaluate keyclauses to protect the organization’s interests while promotingmutually beneficial partnerships in a cross functional sourcingenvironment.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams,including Planning, WHQ Supply Chain, Engineering, ProductDevelopment, and Operations, to understand their requirements andensure alignment between procurement and businessobjectives.
Supplier Performance Management:
Define and track keyperformance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers, evaluate theirperformance regularly, and work collaboratively to address anyperformance issues.
Team Leadership:
Manage the Aftermarket Parts IntegratedProgram with key global vendors on a high-performing crossfunctional team of procurement professionals. Provide guidance,strategy, and influence others. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain or StrategicSourcing 3+ years` experience in Supply Chain Process Optimization orSupplier Management 20% travel in North America Preferred Qualifications Experience in Aftermarket Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcingwithin a global manufacturing organization. Preferable experience in Supply Chain Process Optimizationwithing Compressors, Motors, Valves, Coils and Heat ExchangesCommodities Demonstrated track record of managing Supply Chain ProcessImprovement driving KPI implementation. Six Sigma and Lean Manufacture certification Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills,with the ability to build effective relationships with internalstakeholders and external suppliers. Proficient in Microsoft with deep knowledge in MSExcel Knowledge on ERP system (preferable SAP) and the usage of PowerBi Tools. Strong analytical and market research skills, with the abilityto identify and capitalize on market opportunities while mitigatingsupply chain risks.
