Who We’re Looking For:

The Director of Planning is a strategic leadership role tasked with developing and executing the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) strategy for global operations. This position drives end-to-end supply chain planning, aligning with business objectives to optimize inventory, enhance operational efficiency, and support company growth. The Director will collaborate cross-functionally to implement strategies that improve supply chain performance, analyze business trends, and lead global planning initiatives. Responsible for high-impact projects with aggressive timelines, the role is accountable for measurable outcomes in forecast accuracy, on-time delivery, inventory turns, cost reduction, and process improvements.
About the

Role:
Strategic Leadership:

Develop and lead the SIOP strategy to ensure accurate forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management. Facilitate monthly SIOP meetings with key stakeholders.

Global Oversight:

Oversee the planning function across all sites globally, ensuring consistency and alignment with the overall supply chain strategy.

Inventory Management:

Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock. Implement inventory control measures and monitor performance.

Demand Planning:

Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to develop accurate demand forecasts. Utilize data analytics to predict market trends and customer needs.

Capacity Planning:

Assess production capacity and resource requirements to meet demand forecasts. Coordinate with manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

Performance Metrics:

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain activities. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Risk Management:

Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure business continuity through proactive planning and contingency measures.

Team Leadership:

Manage and mentor a team of supply chain planners. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Continuous Improvement:

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies. Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain planning, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in SIOP and end-to-end supply chain management.

SAP S4 HANA

experience a plus.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in supply chain software and tools.

Certifications:

APICS CPIM, CSCP, or similar certifications are a plus
