Job Description
Responsible for managing end-to-end AdvaGen Supply Chain, while working closely with key stakeholders such as sales, supply chain, wholesalers, and customer’s strategies to meet/exceed customer service levels while minimizing inventory and costs; Allocate strategies during times of inadequate product supply to maximize profits and minimize customer supply interruptions. Lead the Demand forecasting, planning activity considering current business, and open upcoming bids. Track and work towards improving forecast accuracy. Manage activities related to inventory by monitoring ex-manufacturing site through to AdvaGen warehouse, customs clearance, proper receipt at warehouse (Correct and timely manner), inventory allocation to customers, back-order monitoring, monitoring correct dispatches and no short dispatches to customer, and financial to physical inventory accuracy. Analyze inventories and work closely with Sales and Finance function for Liquidation of slow and non-moving inventory. Confer and monitor close collaboration with Rubicon supply chain team to improve coverage. Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, and optimize AdvaGen supply chain costs. Manage transportation invoice reviews and challenge transport providers to ensure accurate billing for services rendered. Monitor and manage various 3PL warehousing operations. Develop and continuously improve front end Supply Chain dashboard/KPIs. Drive supply chain optimization potential at AdvaGen by captivating warehousing operations and optimize distribution/logistics cost. Stakeholders’ management and coordination with Sales, Customer service, Finance & India supply chain team. Analyze information on regulatory and quality compliance with State licensing for 3PL warehouses; coordinate any needed Quality Recalls, and Good financial management of all inventory transactions, returns processing and damage/donations write-offs. The position will supervise two employees.
Requirements:
Applicant must have a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain and Operations Management or related field and five (5) years’ managerial experience with supply chain operations in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Must have experience with managing UPS Warehouse Operations, demand planning, order management, customer service; managing pharmaceuticals finished product supplies; evaluating new business opportunities along with monthly sales & operations planning (S&OP) for B2B business. Experience with end-to-end Master Data Management and stock keeping unit (SKU) creation for relevant master data; Implementation of end-to-end Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) mandated Serialization & Aggregation requirements.
Experience utilizing skills:
Microsoft Office Suite, SAP
ECC, SAP
