Cash Position Summary:
The Director of Order to Cash (O2C) will lead all aspects of the order-to-cash cycle in a dynamic manufacturing environment, ensuring timely and accurate order processing, customer service, production scheduling, logistics and invoicing to ensure that client experience is optimized. The Director will work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Production Planning, Shipping/Logistics to drive cross-functional alignment and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the complete Order to Cash process including order entry, scheduling coordination with manufacturing, customer service and logistics. Collaborate with production planning, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure orders are accurately entered, scheduled, and delivered to meet customer expectations. Monitor and analyze O2C KPIs; provide regular reporting to senior leadership, including trends, risks, and improvement initiatives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline order-to-cash processes, enhance automation, and reduce manual touchpoints. Serve as the key liaison between finance, manufacturing operations, sales, and customers for order-to-cash related matters. Implement and maintain effective internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness. Provide leadership, coaching, and development to the O2C team to build a high-performing, customer-focused organization. Support ERP system optimization and participate in system upgrades or new implementations related to order processing, billing, and collections.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in Order to Cash, Supply Chain or Operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain, production scheduling, logistics and how they impact the O2C process. Deep experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.). Familiarity with manufacturing lead times, MRP/ERP integrations, and demand planning processes. Excellent leadership and team management capabilities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities; able to work cross-functionally at all organizational levels. Experience in a multi-plant, multi-customer environment strongly preferred.

$170,000.00 – $210,000.00 per year
